Information for a Funeral at St. Mary's

Funeral arrangements are made with the Funeral Director who will liaise with the Parish Office regarding times and dates.

While we are without a Vicar they will also arrange for a priest, who will contact the bereaved in order to make an appointment to visit.

At this intitial visit personal requirements regarding the service, hymns, music and eulogy are discussed.

After the funeral, a member of the bereavement team will telephone to offer support and a visit during this sad time. Every October there is a Service of Light to remember the recently departed.
